On Sat. we will start our FA Cup run 2011 and will play against Leeds United at Emirates. All matches between Arsenal and Leeds in FA Cup are very interesting and epic. Try to remember some of them.
First will be. FA Cup final 1972. Leeds won 1-0 and won the Cup. This FA Cup title is the only in Leeds history. We won it 10 times.
Next. 1991. FA Cup 4th Round. Teams need to play four replays. First match at Highbury ended 0-0, then 1-1 at Elland Road, Limpar scored for us, then again 0-0 at Highbury. In last match at Elland Road we won 2-1, thanks for the goals to Merson and Dixon.
Next epic matches were played in 1993. First match at Highbury ended by draw 2-2. Leeds had advantage 2-0, but goals by Merson and Parlour saved us. In replay team needed an overtime to know the winner. In ends of the match we won 3-2, Ian Wright double and goal from Alan Smith helped us to win. We won FA Cup this year.
